In August 2014, I went on academic exchange to Tilburg University - ranked #1 in Europe for the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. While there, I studied various business related courses which included Introduction to Dutch, International Comparative Management, Business and IM Research and Business Networks and Inter-Organizational Systems. I found all my classes very enjoyable because of the large number of international students. This environment gave me the opportunity to interact with a students from all over the world strengthening my knowledge of different lifestyles.
Being situated in a small city like Tilburg allowed me to really explore different aspects of the Dutch culture. My love for food and fresh ingredients was not a disappointment as I was exposed to great local cuisine and incredible Dutch day markets. In addition to The Netherlands I was fortunate enough to travel to nine other European nations which included Belgium, Germany, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Norway, Greece, Spain and Portugal. I am thankful for all the amazing places I was able to visit however, I plan to continue my travel pursuit and visit countries that will offer new and exciting opportunities.
